ANTD.VN - US Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, and former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, are focusing on campaigning for undecided voters in battleground states with only 2 weeks left until the US Presidential Election Day (November 5).

On October 21, Ms. Harris held rallies in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. She invited former Republican congresswoman Liz Cheney, a fierce critic of Mr. Trump, to the event to urge voters to vote for her.

“Please help us spread the word in this conversation to your neighbors, friends and family to remind them of what is at stake,” Harris said. “I promise to be a president for all Americans.” Trump, meanwhile, visited another battleground state, North Carolina, to assess the damage caused by Hurricane Helene last month. He criticized White House officials for their response to the disaster, saying he would do better. “I will remove every bureaucratic hurdle that you are facing and are having trouble with right now,” he said. “I will personally recruit businesses from all over the world to help restore prosperity to the region.” The race for the White House between the two candidates remains very tight. Analysts at RealClearPolitics say Harris has an average national lead of 49.2%, while Trump has 48.3%. However, they say the Republican presidential nominee has a slight lead in all seven battleground states. These are the states that will determine the outcome of the November 5 US presidential election and therefore attract the most attention in this election.
