On May 10, Muong Khuong district organized a festival to preserve and develop ethnic cultures in educational institutions in the district in 2024.
The festival is organized to educate students about the fine traditions and cultural identities of ethnic communities and the Party and State's ethnic policies and guidelines; educate students about respecting national cultural heritage, gradually forming national pride and confidence in introducing the cultural values of their own people to other peoples; restoring and preserving the good, the beautiful and the unique of each ethnic group and each region, thereby creating awareness of preserving, respecting and being proud of their own people, homeland and country.
The festival takes place in two parts: the ceremony and the festival.
The ceremony includes activities: cultural performances with typical cultural features of ethnic groups; exchanges with local artisans and prestigious people; presentations on traditional customs and practices of ethnic groups...
During the festival, students and delegates were able to admire the reenactment and excerpts of some festivals and customs; participate in cultural, artistic, sports activities, traditional local folk games, community cultural activities; visit cultural spaces, exhibitions of booths with national identity...
Through the festival, it has contributed to concretizing the contents of Resolution No. 10-NQ/HU dated January 15, 2021 of the District Party Committee on preserving and developing traditional culture of Muong Khuong district, period 2020 - 2025; building Muong Khuong culture and people as the foundation, goal and driving force for development. At the same time, promoting the work of preserving and promoting national cultural identity in educational institutions in Muong Khuong district; creating a healthy playground for students to develop their qualities, exchange, learn, and participate in experiential activities.
