In the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Military Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, made efforts to overcome difficulties, led and directed the comprehensive completion of the targets set out in the Congress Resolution. Notably, it advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to perform well the task of State management of national defense; built a solid provincial defense zone; recruited soldiers annually, reaching 100% of the target; built a comprehensively strong provincial armed force that is "exemplary and typical".
Logistics, technical work, military policies, military rear areas, social security activities, search and rescue, etc. were effectively implemented. Party building work was focused on, upholding principles, improving the quality of Party cell activities, building a contingent of cadres and Party members with courage and qualities, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Military Party Committee of Ca Mau province set out targets for building a politically strong armed force, completing 100% of training plans for the subjects; 100% of agencies and units issuing and using personal digital signatures; 80% of agencies and units achieving a "good" level of digital transformation and 20% achieving a "fair" level; by 2026, 100% of officers and soldiers will have the knowledge and skills to exploit and use digital platforms, essential digital services and know how to protect themselves in the digital environment; 90% of Party organizations, Party members and officers will complete their annual tasks well and excellently.
Delegates vote to pass the Congress Resolution.
At the congress, delegates discussed and voted to agree on the content of contributing opinions to the draft documents of the Central Committee and the draft Political report of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to be submitted to the 17th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; the draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 13th Provincial Military Party Congress.
Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 9 Ho Van Thai gave a speech at the congress.
Speaking at the congress, Lieutenant General Ho Van Thai, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 9, requested the Party Committee and Military Command of Ca Mau province to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the resolutions and directives of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission and well implement the three focuses and three drastic measures as directed by the General Secretary at the Central Military Commission conference in the first 6 months of 2025; at the same time, promote the advisory role for the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee in leading the national defense and border protection tasks associated with socio -economic development; complete the defense combat plan in accordance with reality; strictly maintain combat readiness, closely coordinate with the forces, grasp the situation, handle effectively, avoid being passive and surprised.

In his closing speech at the congress, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai affirmed: The documents passed at the congress were the result of the concentration of intelligence, will and determination of the entire Party Committee, and the creative application of the Party's Resolutions and Directives to specific conditions, in accordance with the situation and tasks of the local military and defense work of the provincial armed forces.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai emphasized: The success of the congress is very important in the construction, fighting, winning and growing of the provincial armed forces in the coming years. The decisive issues are the deployment, organization and implementation of the Congress Resolution into each specific field, turning the Congress Resolution into determination and a movement of action and emulation in the entire Party Committee. Therefore, after the congress, Party committees at all levels, each agency and unit must have Resolutions and plans to specify the goals and tasks in line with the situation of the agency, unit and locality; each cadre and party member must raise their sense of responsibility, together with the entire Party Committee to overcome difficulties, overcome challenges, and strive to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out by the 13th Provincial Military Party Congress.
