On the morning of March 29, a representative of the Ky Tan Commune Police (Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh ) said that this unit had assisted a female student in the area in verifying the identity of the account holder who mistakenly transferred 100 million VND.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of March 27, female student Nguyen Thi Van (born 2006, grade 12, residing in Dong Van village, Ky Tan commune) was going to school with her friends when she suddenly received 100 million VND from a strange account number.

Returning home, Van informed her family and was instructed by her parents to go to the Ky Tan Commune Police Station to report.
The police later determined that the mistakenly transferred account number belonged to Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich (residing in Cua Nam ward, Vinh city, Nghe An ), so they proceeded with the necessary procedures.
On March 28, Ms. Bich appeared at the Ky Tan Commune Police Station and received the money back from female student Van under the witness of the authorities.
