Director Tran Thanh has officially announced the first images and designs in the comedy film "The Four Guardians", scheduled to be shown on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025.

The first faces of the film are revealed through the poster.

The first images of the film show the humor and variety of the "guardian" cast in the film. The guard quartet revolves around the mischief of four "village newspaper" characters. Right from the start of filming, director Tran Thanh affirmed that this is a film in which he returns to his familiar comedy style.

Sharing about the quartet in the film, director Tran Thanh said that this will be a group of people who have a lot of love for others and also a lot of time, "idleness breeds mischief". So instead of helping their loved ones, the result is all "chickens and dogs running". These awkward situations about "idleness" will open up a humorous story for the audience.

Talking about the Tet movie, which is also his 4th movie, Tran Thanh said that the laughter in the movie is not just funny pieces but hopefully will bring a new perspective to the audience about deadlocked situations, so that they can laugh freely during Tet and bring that happy, comfortable mindset to welcome the coming new year.

Tran Thanh is one of the best-selling directors of the new generation of Vietnamese cinema, with the revenue of 3 films. "Godfather", "Mrs. Nu's House" and “Mai” totaled more than one trillion VND. Together with directors like Ly Hai, Victor Vu… he created new colors for Vietnamese commercial cinema, contributing to promoting theatrical films to increase their competitiveness against imported films.

"The Four Guardians" is directed by Tran Thanh, produced by Tran Thanh Town, co-produced and distributed by Galaxy Studio, and is expected to be released in theaters on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025.
