In 2023, the total enrollment target for 4 IT-specialized 10th grade classes in Hanoi is 140, with 1,196 candidates registering for the exam. The highest competition rate is for the IT-specialized 10th grade class at Chu Van An High School - 1/11.09, meaning that on average, one out of 11 students taking the exam will be admitted. Next is the competition rate for the IT-specialized 10th grade class at Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted (1/10.17), Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted (1/9.03), and finally Son Tay High School for the Gifted (1/3.89).
Last year, the highest admission score for the 10th grade IT major was 37.25 at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, the lowest was the IT major at Son Tay High School (27.25). The IT major at Nguyen Hue High School and Chu Van An High School had admission scores of 35.25 and 35, respectively.
This year’s Hanoi public 10th grade exam scores and benchmark scores will be announced on July 4 and July 8-9. If admitted, students will enroll online. From July 18, schools that do not have enough enrollment quotas will begin to consider additional enrollment.
