Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School Relic, the red address of revolutionary journalists

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), a delegation of the Hai Duong Provincial Journalists Association visited the national historical site of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School in Thai Nguyen.

The Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School relic stands out among the green of the mountains and forests, located in the planning area of the Nui Coc Lake National Historical Tourist Area (Thai Nguyen). This location was ranked as a national historical relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2019, covering an area of nearly 900 m2 with the following items: Memorial stele house, exhibition room, area recreating journalism practice classrooms...
Looking back in history, 76 years ago, on April 4, 1949, Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School was established, founded, named and instructed by President Ho Chi Minh to organize and implement. This was the first journalism training facility of the Vietnamese revolutionary press and also the only training facility during the resistance war against French colonialism. The lecturers directly teaching at the school were leaders of the resistance war, rich in experience, rich in theory and practice, including comrades: Tr
76 years ago, on April 4, 1949, in Bo Ra village, Thai Tan commune, Dai Tu district (Thai Nguyen), Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School was established. The school was founded, named and instructed by President Ho Chi Minh to organize and implement. This was the only journalism training facility during the resistance war against French colonialism. The teaching staff included political activists and famous journalists such as Vo Nguyen Giap, Hoang Quoc Viet, To Huu, Nguyen Dinh Thi... The first course opened on April 4, 1949 and closed on July 6, 1949 with 42 students who were political , military and journalism cadres sent back from all over the country.

Journalist Phan Huu Minh, former member of the Standing Committee and former Head of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, shared that the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School relic site has a very important significance in marking a part of the sacred history of journalism, and is a "red address" of Vietnam's revolutionary press.
