Inspection delegation 1571 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee works with Thuan Bac District Party Committee

On August 28, Inspection Delegation 1571 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee led by Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with Thuan Bac District Party Committee on leadership and direction in implementing Resolution No. 19-NQ/TU, dated January 25, 2022 of the Provincial Party Committee on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas (EM&MN) by 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Implementing Resolution No. 19-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee, Thuan Bac District Party Committee has issued many documents and plans to focus on leadership and direction; organize propaganda and widely disseminate the content of the Resolution to cadres, party members and people in the area. In the period of 2022-2023, from the central budget allocation and local budget counterpart capital of more than 84.3 billion VND, the district focuses on investing in programs and projects such as: Supporting production development, solving the shortage of residential land, domestic water, creating jobs; building essential infrastructure in ethnic minority areas. Through the implementation of policy programs, the average annual poverty rate has decreased; by the end of 2022, there were 1,952 poor ethnic minority households, accounting for 27.17% of the district's population, and people's lives have gradually improved.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the working session with Thuan Bac District Party Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive spirit of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee in leadership and direction, the close coordination of all levels, sectors and localities in promptly implementing the contents of Resolution No. 19-NQ/TU. He emphasized that the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas is a major policy of the Party and State to comprehensively invest in all fields in ethnic minority areas. In order to effectively implement the contents of Resolution No. 19-NQ/TU in the coming time, he suggested that the Thuan Bac District Party Committee focus on reviewing and setting out specific targets from which to synchronously develop solutions close to local realities. In particular, focusing on strengthening the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels in propagating and disseminating ethnic policies to the people; Accelerate disbursement of allocated capital and focus on mobilizing and integrating essential infrastructure investment programs and projects, production models suitable to the characteristics of ethnic minority areas; organize production associated with production linkage, product consumption, creating livelihoods under forest canopy, developing community tourism ; promote training, job creation. Strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas according to the issued plan.
