Khanh Hoa Customs Youth Union: Many meaningful activities during Youth Month

(HQ Online) - During Youth Month, the Youth Union and Khanh Hoa Customs Department participated in many meaningful activities with the Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Provincial Agencies.

Delegates and youth union members participated in planting trees in the Martyrs' Cemetery.

On March 16, the Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Customs Department coordinated with the Youth Unions of the following units: Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to organize many activities in response to Youth Month 2024 and launch Green Sunday at Hon Dung Martyrs Cemetery - Nha Trang City.

Here, the leaders, union members and youth of the units offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; repainted information on all martyrs' tombstones; and carried out the Youth Project of planting 20 Australian mango trees in the grounds of Hon Dung Martyrs' Cemetery.

According to Secretary of the Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Customs Department Nguyen Hoang Minh Vu, the activities aim to contribute to preserving, embellishing and beautifying Hon Dung Martyrs Cemetery; propagating to youth union members about the heroic sacrifices of heroic martyrs, those who have contributed to the country, educating the tradition of patriotism for youth union members; expressing the deep gratitude of the youth union members and youth of the Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Provincial Agencies.

All information on the martyrs' tombstones in Hon Dung Cemetery has been repainted.
