According to VFF, head coach Mai Duc Chung and the coaching staff will have 10 days to work on advanced training programs for the players with the goal of the whole team having the best physical strength and form before entering the upcoming tournament.

Previously, sharing with the media representative, Coach Mai Duc Chung hoped that winning a ticket to the final round of the 2026 Asian Women's Championship would be a motivation for his students to continue to try harder, aiming for the Southeast Asian Women's Championship, a playground predicted to be more difficult, with a high spirit of determination.

During the training session in Cam Pha ( Quang Ninh ), the Vietnamese women's team was stationed at Van Long Hotel and had two familiar training locations: Cam Pha football field and Tuan Mai beach.

During the first practice session on the morning of July 21, Huynh Nhu and her teammates spent more than an hour on Tuan Mai beach, breathing the sea breeze with great enthusiasm.

Due to the influence of storm No. 3 (Wipha), the weather in Cam Pha (Quang Ninh) had light rain, but it did not reduce the training atmosphere of the whole team.

On the contrary, changing the training location not only helps improve the players' spirit but also creates conditions for the coaching staff to come up with more diverse lesson plans as well as games to help unite the whole team.

According to the plan, the Vietnamese women's team will have one more training session on the beach. For the rest of the time, the coaching staff has built a lesson plan with exercises on the Cam Pha grass field.

Coach Mai Duc Chung will also continue to perfect the framework and test personnel during this time.

After completing the training session in Cam Pha (Quang Ninh), the Vietnamese women's team will continue to move to Hai Phong on July 30 to prepare for the 2025 Southeast Asian women's tournament, which will take place here from August 6 to 19.

Before that, head coach Mai Duc Chung and Huynh Nhu will go to Australia to attend the draw for the final round of the 2026 Asian Women's Championship, taking place on July 29.
