In this training session, head coach Mai Duc Chung called up 28 players to the team, including players who participated in the 2026 Asian women's qualifiers and a few new faces, notably the first time the central defender currently playing for Than KSVN Club, Le Thi Bao Tram, was called up to the team.
During the first week of training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center ( Hanoi ), coach Mai Duc Chung said the coaching staff is focusing on advanced physical training combined with technical and tactical training.
The goal of the Vietnamese women's team in this training session is to consolidate positions and try to complete heavier training programs to achieve the best performance before participating in the upcoming 2025 Southeast Asian women's tournament.
According to plan, the Vietnamese women's team will train at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center for 1 week.
From July 20, Huynh Nhu and the players moved to Cam Pha (Quang Ninh) to continue training there for another 10 days before arriving in Hai Phong city, the venue for the Group A matches on July 30, to prepare for the final preparations to participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian women's tournament.
As the host of Group A, Huynh Nhu and her teammates will meet opponents Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand on August 6, August 9 and August 12 at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong).
