Vietnam team makes a leap in FIFA rankings

Two consecutive victories against Cambodia and Laos helped the Vietnam team rise 5 places to jump from 114th to 109th in the FIFA rankings.

Two consecutive victories during FIFA Days in March 2025 helped the Vietnam National Team advance in the FIFA rankings.

Specifically, in March, Coach Kim Sang-sik's team will have two matches with Cambodia (friendly) and Laos (2027 Asian Cup qualifiers).

The Vietnamese team defeated the Cambodian team 2-1 and won 5-0 against the Lao team.

According to Football-ranking's calculations, the 2-1 victory over Cambodia helped the Vietnam team gain 2.74 points.

With the victory over Laos, the "Golden Star Warriors" were awarded an additional 6.09 points.

With an additional 8.83 points, the current total score of the Vietnam Team is 1,183.82, jumping 5 places from 114th to 109th in the world .

Two victories in March also helped the Vietnamese team extend its unbeaten streak to 11 matches under coach Kim Sang-sik./.
