BTO-On July 30, the Thang Long Project Management Board and related units went to the flooded scene on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway in Ham Tan district to inspect and find the cause of the flooded section of the expressway.

Mr. Dang Hong Thai - Director of Thang Long Project Management Board said: Initial assessment is that heavy rain lasting for many days, the amount of water discharged from Song Phan dam is unusually large, causing flooding on the highway at Ham Tan section. In addition to objective reasons, Thang Long Project Management Board and relevant agencies are investigating the underlying cause (including the construction of drainage culverts) to find a solution to create a long-term, sustainable operation of the highway.
