At the meeting, leaders of departments, branches and units of the two provinces informed about the situation, achieved results, shared difficulties, obstacles and lessons learned in the process of project implementation. For our province, the Tam Nong Project (phase 1) was implemented from 2011 to 2017, including 3 components: Strengthening institutional capacity to implement the Tam Nong strategy; Developing value chains for the poor; Building and implementing a participatory, market-oriented socio -economic development plan at the commune level.

The project aims to sustainably improve the quality of life of rural households, with special attention to extremely disadvantaged areas, ethnic minority areas and poor households in 27 communes in 6 districts of the province. After the end of phase 1, the province has focused on solutions to mobilize resources, continue to sustainably maintain the achievements and methods of the project and has achieved many positive results, contributing to improving the quality of life for people in rural areas.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the working trip of Cao Bang province; at the same time, he affirmed that Cao Bang and Ninh Thuan provinces have a close relationship. He hoped that in the coming time, the two localities would continue to exchange and share experiences in sustainably maintaining the achievements of the project, as well as in many other fields, contributing to the development of the two localities in particular and the whole country in general.
Comrade Trinh Truong Huy, Vice Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the achievements of Ninh Thuan province in the past time; sincerely thanked the leaders of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and relevant units for their affection and valuable experiences. From the good practices and experiences of Ninh Thuan, Cao Bang province will apply them appropriately to the practical situation, contributing to improving people's lives and meeting the requirements of socio-economic development of its locality.
