According to the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, in the first year of operation in 2025, the project is expected to attract 330,000 visitors , with tourism revenue reaching about 176 billion VND. By 2030, the project will attract 730,000 visitors, with revenue reaching 460 billion VND. The project is also expected to create jobs for nearly 2,000 local workers when completed in 2030.

Tan Phu protective forest covers an area of 18,000 hectares and is located in Tan Phu and Dinh Quan districts with many ecosystems such as evergreen broadleaf closed forest, bamboo forest, mixed secondary forest of bamboo and broadleaf trees, grasslands, and shrubs. Tan Phu protective forest area also has the La Nga river system that flows zigzag and meanders with many rapids, creating a majestic landscape.

In addition to Tan Phu protective forest, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee also approved an eco-tourism project in Dong Nai Cultural Nature Reserve with 51 locations and a total investment of nearly 1,000 billion VND.
