Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam, Deputy Minister of Transport ( Ministry of Construction after the merger) was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
This afternoon, March 1, the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's Decision on personnel work. Mr. Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee chaired the conference.
Also attending the conference were Mr. Do Trong Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Mr. Tran Hong Minh, Minister of Construction; Mr. Hoang Trung Dung, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine, and key leaders of Ha Tinh province, the Ministry of Construction, and Military Region IV.
Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented the decision and flowers to Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam.
The conference announced the Politburo's Decision to mobilize, assign and appoint Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam, Deputy Minister of Transport, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Minh Hung affirmed that comrade Nguyen Duy Lam had received basic training and had worked in many positions at the Ministry of Transport; was a capable and experienced cadre, always excellently completing assigned tasks, and was trusted by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee.

Le Minh Hung requested the Executive Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, leaders of departments, branches and localities in the area to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, joint efforts, consensus, share and support comrade Nguyen Duy Lam to strive to complete the task at the highest level, bringing Ha Tinh to develop more strongly and sustainably in the coming time.
Speaking at the ceremony, the new Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duy Lam expressed his deep gratitude to General Secretary To Lam, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee for entrusting him with the new responsibility, and thanked the comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Executive Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for their help and support in carrying out the tasks in his new position.

New Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Lam pledged to always make every effort, be dedicated, uphold the vanguard and exemplary spirit, uphold the Party's principles, practice what he preaches, promote the role of a nucleus of solidarity, together with the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee and the people of the province, determined to successfully implement the goals and targets set by the resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the whole country's successful implementation of the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, while well preparing and successfully organizing the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam was born in 1972, from Dong Tien commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province; has a master's degree in Engineering, and is a bridge and tunnel construction engineer. Before becoming the Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, he held the positions of Deputy Director, then Director of the Planning and Investment Department, Director of the Road Construction Management Department (Vietnam Road Administration), and Director of the Construction Management and Quality of Traffic Works.
In August 2021, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Transport.
