HAGL meets Kiatisak again

On July 30, HAGL Club began a special training trip in Thailand. This is considered the final preparation stage for coach Le Quang Trai and his team before entering the V-League 2025 - 2026, a tournament they cherish and hope will bring surprises.

Everyone knows that the relationship between HAGL and Thailand is always very special, shown through stories beyond football between Mr. Duc and icons like Kiatisak, Dusit, Taiwan...

Over the years, HAGL Club itself has regularly held training sessions in Thailand, through the introduction of their base in Bangkok, or the Kiatisak family, which has a high reputation in the Thai football world.

But this season, HAGL will go to Thailand with a very different mindset, marking the opening of a new cycle after completely saying goodbye to the HAGL JMG academy generation that Mr. Duc brought to the V-League 10 years ago.

In total, after 3 years, the duo of Technical Director Vu Tien Thanh and Head Coach Le Quang Trai have said goodbye to an entire team, including Cong Phuong, Tuan Anh, Xuan Truong, Hong Duy, Van Toan... and the group right behind them are Bao Toan, Quang Nho, Ngoc Quang...

It is expected that the new squad with many names born after 2000 will have the opportunity to meet Coach Kiatisak, who has spent a lot of time as a player and coach of HAGL, in this ambitious training session.

For this training session, HAGL has prepared quite carefully for 6 friendly matches in Thailand, including at least 2 matches with strong opponents in Thai League 1 and 4 test matches with Thai League 2 clubs.

This brings the expectation that it will help many young talents of HAGL, including those who have more experience in international friendly matches, form bonds and communicate on the field to connect and understand each other better in implementing the ideas of the coaching staff.

Previously, HAGL Club welcomed 5 quality new recruits to prepare for the new season, including 4 players from the HAGL NutiFood JMG training center "leaving to return to HAGL" including Hoang Vinh Nguyen, Tran Gia Huy, Huynh Tuan Vu and Nguyen Duy Tam.

In addition, the mountain town team also decided to put their trust in Vietnamese-American midfielder Ryan Ha, who played in lower divisions in France before returning to Vietnam to join Khanh Hoa Club, Binh Duong Club, Hanoi Club and PVF-CAND.

With these additions, especially midfielder Hoang Vinh Nguyen who trained in Spain and is a mainstay in the midfield of Ho Chi Minh City Club (now transformed into Ho Chi Minh City Police Club), HAGL is expected to introduce a new, experienced and quality force to bring surprises in V-League 2025 - 2026.
