At the ceremony, Mr. Nong Quoc Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), awarded a certificate of recognition to the People's Committee of Tra Bong District, affirming the unique cultural values of two art forms closely associated with the life of the Cor community.

Through many historical changes, the Cor people in Tra Bong have persistently preserved and promoted many traditional cultural values. Among them, Nga Ra Festival (Sa Ni) is a special ceremony expressing agricultural beliefs, held after each harvest as a way to express gratitude to heaven, earth, ancestors and pray for favorable weather and good crops. This is not only a festival but also an occasion for gathering and connecting the community in joy after the harvest.

Meanwhile, Ca Dao art is a type of folk dance with strong spiritual and optimistic elements. These traditional dances are often performed during major festivals, symbolizing joy, community solidarity and the desire for peace and prosperity.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province, emphasized: "The recognition of national heritage is a worthy recognition of the sustainable values that the Cor people have preserved and passed down through many generations. This is also a testament to the attention of the Party, the State and the cultural sector in the work of preserving the heritage of ethnic minorities."

According to Mr. Thanh, in order for these two cultural heritages to continue to live in contemporary life, it is necessary to develop programs to preserve, restore, and teach the younger generation, while at the same time widely promoting them in conjunction with tourism development and national cultural education .

Nga Ra Festival and Ca Dao art are not only the heritage of the Cor people but also valuable cultural assets in the diverse cultural treasure of the Vietnamese ethnic community. National registration is not only a source of pride for the Cor people but also a reminder of the responsibility to preserve cultural values associated with the origin, land and people of Quang.
