Implementing the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Hai Duong province for the period 2023 - 2025, Hai Duong province has 57 commune-level administrative units subject to arrangement.
Currently, these 57 commune-level administrative units have 1,833 cadres, civil servants, health officials, and part-time workers (540 cadres, 456 civil servants, 297 public employees, and 540 part-time workers).
After the arrangement, 29 new communes were assigned 1,183 people (285 cadres, 287 civil servants, 266 medical staff and 345 part-time workers).
Thus, there are 650 redundant people, including 255 cadres, 169 civil servants, 31 medical staff and 195 part-time workers.
Hai Duong province has arranged the following solutions: 111 people will receive retirement benefits; 117 people will be downsized or laid off, and 422 people will be assigned to work in other units.
Of these, 36 civil servants retired, 23 were downsized or resigned; 110 were assigned to other jobs. Of the staff, 73 retired, 56 were downsized or resigned; 126 were assigned to work in other units. 2 part-time workers retired; 38 were downsized or resigned; 155 were assigned to other jobs. All 31 medical staff were assigned to work in other units.
The settlement roadmap will be implemented from December 1, 2024 to the end of 2029.
