Hai Duong promptly detected and handled 33 dike and irrigation incidents.

Ngo Quyen Commune (Thanh Mien) mobilized forces to handle the incident at Tay Ke Sat canal of Bac Hung Hai irrigation system.

According to the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Hai Duong province, by 5 p.m. on September 10, the whole province had detected and promptly handled 33 dike and irrigation incidents due to the impact of floods. Of these, there were 8 dike incidents and 25 incidents on the internal irrigation system.

Dike incidents occurred in Kinh Mon town (5 incidents) and Tu Ky district (3 incidents).

Regarding irrigation, Thanh Mien district had 19 incidents, Binh Giang district had 4 incidents, Tu Ky, Ninh Giang, Gia Loc districts each had 1 incident.

Localities have coordinated with authorities to handle the incident from the very first hour, ensuring the safety of dikes and internal irrigation systems.

On the evening of September 10, Hai Duong maintained alert level II on the Thai Binh River system and alert level I on the Luoc River system. 267 dike watchtowers across the province have deployed patrol and guard forces.
