Two male students drowned while bathing in the river

Phu Tho: Two of seven students drowned while bathing in a branch of the Red River in Ha Hoa district, and their bodies were found on the evening of March 25.

At around 4 p.m., a group of 8th grade boys in Van Lang commune, Ha Hoa district, went to Ngoi Lao (a branch of the Red River) in Bang Gia commune, about 3 km from home to bathe.

While swimming about 10 meters from the riverbank, two students suddenly fell into a hole about 3-5 meters deep and went missing. The remaining 5 students panicked and went ashore to call for help. At 6:00 p.m. the same day, the bodies of the two male students were found.

Ngoi Lao - the section where the incident occurred is about 50 meters wide, the stream gradually deepens towards the middle. The leader of Bang Gia commune said that recently this group of students often went swimming when it was hot and they had a day off from school.

The North is changing from cold to hot. In the past few days, the temperature in the afternoon has fluctuated between 29-33 degrees Celsius, many people have gone to the rivers and lakes to swim.
