Mr. Doan Anh Dung - Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee - said that National Tourism Year 2023 is truly a great opportunity for Binh Thuan tourism to spread to domestic and foreign tourists the message of a friendly, peaceful, hospitable land, rich in historical and cultural identity with many unique traditional festivals, beautiful landscapes, landscapes and nature and a Mui Ne "Blue Sea - White Sand - Golden Sunshine" blending together to captivate people's hearts.

The Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the success of the National Tourism Year 2023 in Binh Thuan has contributed positively to the overall success of Vietnam tourism in 2023 with 12.5 million international visitors, 108 million domestic visitors, and total revenue of 672,000 billion VND.
Awarding the rotating flag to organize the National Tourism Year 2024 to Dien Bien province
During the National Tourism Year 2023, 208 national and international events took place; 11 national-level activities; 164 events and activities organized by 41 provinces and cities nationwide. Of which, Binh Thuan alone organized over 30 events, contributing to spreading the role of the tourism industry to the national economy as well as local socio-economic development.
The Closing Ceremony is an activity to conclude the series of events of the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence"; at the same time, the flag of hosting the National Tourism Year 2024 is transferred to Dien Bien province with the theme associated with the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.
