On the morning of October 7, the Provincial Cooperative Union held a conference to remove difficulties for cooperatives, launch an emulation movement and celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13, 2024.
Up to now, the whole province has 921 cooperatives, 210 cooperative groups, and 3 cooperative unions. Due to the impact of storm No. 3, most cooperatives in the province, especially agricultural cooperatives, suffered heavy damage to infrastructure, crops, livestock, factories, equipment, etc. In particular, many aquaculture cooperatives suffered total losses.
Currently, cooperatives have quickly started to overcome the consequences to stabilize production such as: repairing infrastructure, restoring irrigation systems, treating the environment after the storm...
In order to overcome difficulties, cooperatives and the Cooperative Union proposed that departments, branches and localities continue to have solutions to support production recovery such as: implementing preferential loan programs, supplementing regulations on disbursement of capital sources to support cooperatives, increasing loan limits from sources supporting cooperative development, supporting mechanisms for materials, seeds, and pesticides for reproduction...
At the conference, the Provincial Cooperative Union deployed tasks in the last months of the year such as: Promoting the propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws on innovation and development of the collective economy ; grasping the situation of cooperative operations and difficulties and obstacles that need to be resolved, promptly reporting to the relevant departments, branches and the Provincial People's Committee; strengthening the implementation of trade promotion programs inside and outside the province...
On this occasion, the Provincial Cooperative Union launched an emulation movement towards the 2025 Quang Ninh Provincial Advanced Model Conference. In particular, it is necessary to continue to deploy, propagate and organize well the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; organize exciting and practical emulation movements; strengthen training and fostering to improve the qualifications in all aspects for the staff and civil servants of the Cooperative Union; effectively implement the coordination program; build an increasingly strong Cooperative Union system.
