Workshop "Cinema, tourism

(Fatherland) - On the morning of December 7, in Tuyen Quang city, a professional workshop with the theme "Cinema, tourism - connecting far and wide" took place.

The event was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang in coordination with the Vietnam Cinema Association; Department of Cinema; Vietnam Film Institute; Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Asian Tourism Development Institute as part of the "Cinema and Tourism in Tuyen Quang Province" development promotion program in 2024, taking place over 3 days from December 5 to December 7.

The workshop was attended by many experts on cultural, economic and cinema development policies; prestigious domestic and international filmmakers. Through the presentations and contributions of experts, the workshop is expected to provide solutions and plans to further promote the development of cinema and tourism in Tuyen Quang in particular, and localities in general in the coming time.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong, Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee, said that with a new vision, Tuyen Quang province identifies Cinema as not only one of the advantageous cultural industries, but also an important contribution in promoting and spreading the value of cultural heritage and effective tourism to domestic and international friends.

With the potential, strengths and orientation of tourism development, along with the support and facilitation of the central ministries, departments and branches, especially the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the close direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee; the drastic participation of the tourism industry, the companionship of the tourism service business community, Tuyen Quang has gradually become one of the attractive tourist destinations for domestic and foreign tourists.

Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong expressed his hope that after the "Cinema, tourism - connecting far and wide" Conference today, Tuyen Quang will have new directions in developing Cinema - one of the prominent cultural industries, strengths associated with the development of heritage and tourism of Tuyen Quang in the coming time.

"At the same time, with the sincere and precious feelings of the people of Tuyen Quang, the province will soon welcome you back with a new role, new projects contributing to bringing the image of the land and people of Tuyen Quang to domestic and international friends. We are committed to accompanying and creating all favorable conditions for businesses and film producers to invest in cultural, tourism, and cinema development projects... in the province" - Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong emphasized.

Also within the framework of the program, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang coordinated with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to organize the photo exhibition "Unique filming locations in Tuyen Quang" with about 100 photos introducing cultural colors, unique and outstanding scenic spots of Tuyen Quang and typical cultural spaces of the province.

At the workshop, experts and invited delegates exchanged and discussed to clarify the connection between "Cinema and tourism connecting far and wide". The workshop consisted of 2 sessions, the first session was chaired by Mr. Do Lenh Hung Tu, Chairman of the Vietnam Cinema Association on the topic "Cinema and tourism - Connecting far and wide". The second session was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Duy Cuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tinh Hoa Thao Moc Phuong Dong Joint Stock Company on the topic "Solutions for cooperation to promote the development of cinema and tourism in Tuyen Quang province".

Previously, on the evening of December 6, the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province organized the opening program with a red carpet event and the launch and introduction of the film "Going to the legendary land".
