More than 74,200 officials and civil servants who quit their jobs due to restructuring will receive subsidies.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said that as of July 15, 85,447 cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in agencies, organizations, and units of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations from the central to grassroots levels and the armed forces had decided to quit their jobs and enjoy policies and regimes according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government.

The number of people who are submitting to competent authorities for approval of funding and the number of people whose funding has been approved by competent authorities is 74,248 people, of which: 20,417 people are submitting to competent authorities for approval of funding; 53,831 people have had funding approved by competent authorities (of which, the number of people who have received money is 41,031 people, accounting for 76.22%).

The Ministry of Home Affairs is continuing to monitor and urge timely and complete settlement of policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants and public employees on leave due to arrangement according to regulations.

Previously, implementing the policy of arranging and streamlining the organizational apparatus associated with streamlining the payroll, restructuring, and improving the quality of the staff, civil servants, and public employees as required by the Central Steering Committee, the Ministry of Home Affairs advised the Government to issue Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP on policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, and armed forces in implementing the arrangement of the organizational apparatus of the political system.

Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP stipulates strong and outstanding regimes and policies to address regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees, commune-level cadres and civil servants and people working under labor contracts in the implementation of organizational arrangement of the political system.

Pursuant to Notice No. 75-TB/TW of the Politburo on adjusting the scope and subjects of application of policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in the implementation of organizational arrangement of the political system, the Ministry of Home Affairs has advised and submitted to the Government to issue Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.

In addition, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued Circular No. 01/2025/TT-BNV guiding the implementation of policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees in the implementation of organizational restructuring of the political system; Circular No. 002/2025/TT-BNV on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 01/2025/TT-BNV.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued Document No. 1814/BNV-TCBC and Document No. 2034/BNV-TCBC to ministries, branches and localities guiding the implementation of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP./.
