Inauguration of Bach Dang 2 Bridge connecting Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces

Bach Dang 2 Bridge crosses the Dong Nai River, connecting Bach Dang commune, Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province and Binh Loi commune, Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, said that the opening of Bach Dang 2 Bridge contributes to the completion of the connecting traffic infrastructure system, developing freight transport. At the same time, it opens up space for urban, commercial and service development for the two provinces.

The Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee proposed that in the coming time, the two provinces continue to invest in more traffic connection projects to complete infrastructure and promote economic development of the two localities.

The Bach Dang 2 Bridge Project has a total length of 945.81m; of which, the bridge section is 401.32m long, the approach road is 544.49m long. The design speed of the bridge section is 80km/h. The total investment is nearly 500 billion VND, from the budget of Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces.

The project's funding is divided proportionally, with each locality contributing 50% of the cost for the main bridge and each locality investing in the construction of the approach road in the area.

The project is invested by the Binh Duong Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board. The construction contractor is a joint venture of Cienco 4 Group Joint Stock Company and 492 Investment Construction Joint Stock Company.

The project to build Bach Dang 2 bridge across Dong Nai river started construction at the end of 2021.
