On the morning of February 20, Kien Xuong District People's Committee held a ceremony to launch businesses to compete to promote production and business in 2024.

In Kien Xuong district, there are currently over 400 enterprises operating, creating jobs for nearly 20,000 workers. The business community has constantly improved production lines, invested in technology, improved product quality and productivity, created jobs for many workers, contributed to the State budget, contributing to bringing the total production value of the district in 2023 to over 13,700 billion VND, an increase of 3.64% over the same period; the budget revenue rate in the area reached nearly 1,800 billion VND, exceeding the assigned target. In particular, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, the business community and entrepreneurs coordinated and accompanied the Party Committee and authorities in the district to present over 22,000 gifts with a total cost of over 17.2 billion VND to poor households and households in difficult circumstances.

Nearly 20,000 workers are working stably in enterprises in Kien Xuong district.

At the launching ceremony, the leaders of the district People's Committee called on businesses to continue to promote their experience and creativity, uphold the spirit of self-reliance, overcome difficulties, and strive to achieve the highest results in production and business activities. Continue to accompany the district Party Committee and government to implement the theme of 2024 "Responsibility, discipline, breakthrough, development", complete the goals and tasks of socio -economic development at a high level with a total production value increasing by 10.5% compared to 2023, average income per capita reaching 63 million VND or more; the poverty rate strives to decrease to below 1.7%.
