Decision 867/QD-TTg, signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on behalf of the Prime Minister on August 21, disciplined Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, Vice President of Hanoi National University, with a reprimand (August 2014-2021).
Mr. Hai was determined to have violations and shortcomings in his work and was subject to party discipline.
Disciplinary enforcement period from the date of announcement of Decision No. 7007 dated June 27 of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai (born in 1973), originally from Hung Yen. He has a bachelor's degree in physics, a master's degree in materials science , a doctorate in physics, and was appointed Associate Professor in 2009.
Since July 24, 2014, Mr. Hai was appointed by the Prime Minister to the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi National University. In July 2019, he was reappointed to this position and is currently Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hanoi National University.
As assigned by the Director of Hanoi National University, Mr. Hai is in charge of the following areas: Training activities; Admissions, testing; Accreditation; Political work, students and some other tasks assigned by the Director.
The units that Mr. Hai is in charge of include: Training Department; Department of Politics and Student Affairs; University of Foreign Languages; University of Law; Faculty of International Francophone Studies; Center for Education Quality Assessment - VNU; Center for Testing VNU; Center for Student Support; Center for Physical Education and Sports; Center for National Defense and Security Education.
