Another clip of a car 'performing' in Thu Thiem similar to Ngoc Trinh's behavior has appeared

At around 5pm on November 5, car-playing groups on Facebook spread a clip of a man and a woman riding a motorbike "performing" similar to Ngoc Trinh's behavior (the suspect who was recently prosecuted and temporarily detained by Ho Chi Minh City Police). The clip was determined to have been filmed in Thu Thiem urban area, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the clip, the young man, not wearing a helmet, was driving a Varrio scooter (license plate unknown) with a girl following behind. The young man wheelied the scooter for a long distance, while the girl behind him held on tightly to the young man to avoid falling onto the road. In the clip, another person driving a motorbike nearby was recording with his phone and laughing and cheering.

The clip was filmed on an internal road in Thu Thiem urban area.

Regarding this incident, Thu Duc City Police said that this clip was filmed by a group of young people a long time ago. After that, the group posted it on social networks. The location in the clip is located in the internal roads of the Thu Thiem urban area project, Thu Duc City. Currently, Thu Duc City Police have coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to verify, investigate and strictly handle the law violations of this group of young people.

Previously, on October 23, social networks were also abuzz with a clip of a group of about 3 young men riding a motorbike, carrying 3 people, and letting go. Among them was a motorbike with a clear Binh Duong license plate. The young men were riding a motorbike on one wheel, not wearing helmets, letting go of both hands, carrying 3 people, doing a wheelie. The image shows the incident in Thu Thiem urban area (Thu Duc City). Immediately after the clips appeared on social networks, Ho Chi Minh City Police directed Thu Duc City Police and professional teams to investigate and handle the case.

According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, those who ride motorbikes with wheelies, hands off the ground, or swerve like Ngoc Trinh will be strictly punished according to the law.

Ngoc Trinh was detained for 3 months

In October 2023, also in the new urban area of Thu Thiem (Thu Duc City), there was an incident where model Ngoc Trinh "performed" and released two motorbike drivers without a motorbike license.

These acts were filmed and posted online through model Ngoc Trinh’s accounts, with hundreds of thousands of likes, comments, and shares. Model Ngoc Trinh was prosecuted and temporarily detained by Ho Chi Minh City Police for 3 months to investigate the act of disturbing public order.
