The Prime Minister highly appreciated the contributions and successful investment and business activities of Korean corporations in Vietnam in recent times.

At the meetings, leaders of the corporations welcomed Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to Korea, believed in the increasingly strong development of bilateral relations, and highly appreciated Vietnam's increasingly improved investment and business environment.

Talking with leaders of leading Korean corporations such as Mr. Chang In Hw, CEO of Posco Group - one of the top 5 businesses in Korea; Mr. Cheoldong Jeong, CEO of LG Display; Mr. Jung Won ju, Chairman of Daewoo E&C Group, and Chairman of the Korea Housing Construction Association; Mr. Sohn Kyung Sik, Chairman of CJ Group; Mr. Huh Yoon Hong, Chairman and Mr. Huh Myung-soo, Senior Advisor of GS Engineering & Construction Corp (GS E&C); Mr. Hyoung Ki Kim - Vice Chairman of the Group and General Director of Celltrion Inc; Mr. Kang Seoghoon, Chairman and CEO of KDB Bank... The Prime Minister received Mr. Sohn Kyung Sik, Chairman of CJ Group. The Prime Minister suggested that CJ continue to expand its investment more and better, consider Vietnam as a strategic market, and succeed together with Vietnam.

At the meetings, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and ministers and heads of sectors listened to the wishes and proposals of corporations when investing in Vietnam and also responded to specific concerns. The Prime Minister requested ministries, sectors and localities to absorb and work with corporations to perfect policies to ensure the stability, competitiveness and attractiveness of Vietnam's investment environment.
