On September 2, the Navy Political Department said that in the joy of the whole country celebrating the 79th anniversary of National Day, the officers and soldiers of the DK 1 platform always held their guns firmly, proactively, ready for all situations, not letting the mainland be surprised from the sea, with the determination to firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and the southern continental shelf of the Fatherland. According to the Navy Political Department, on this occasion, despite the harsh weather, the DK 1 platforms always strengthened their duty, practiced combat readiness plans, organized 24/24-hour watch, observed, grasped the targets in the assigned sea area, and promptly reported to the authorities according to regulations.
In addition, DK 1 platforms organize cultural, artistic, and entertainment activities that are exciting, healthy, and safe, such as: table tennis, chess, karaoke, weightlifting, reading, etc. These activities contribute to the atmosphere of the National Day holiday with the whole country, making each officer and soldier feel secure in their work, steadfast at the forefront, actively training for health, building solidarity, bonding, and completing all assigned tasks well, according to the Navy Political Department.
