Accordingly, the consortium of 6 contractors including: Dai Dung Commercial Construction Mechanical Joint Stock Company; Dong Anh Licogil Mechanical Joint Stock Company; Fecon Joint Stock Company; Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 2; General Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company and Cong Tien Industrial Engineering Company Limited won the bid with a value of over 916 billion VND. The implementation period of the bid package is 13 months, the type of lump sum contract.
Previously, on June 15, the No. 1 Aircraft Maintenance Service Investment and Construction Project at Long Thanh Airport was also started. The No. 1 Aircraft Maintenance Service Investment and Construction Project is implemented by VAECO on a land area of over 45,500 m2, with a total investment of over VND 1.1 trillion in phase 1.
This is an integrated aviation engineering complex, including a hangar capable of simultaneously maintaining 2 wide-body aircraft (code E) and 2 narrow-body aircraft (code C), along with equipment workshops, technical areas, material warehouses and auxiliary systems. The minimum designed maintenance capacity is 250 thousand Mhrs/year, expected to serve 120-150 aircraft maintenance trips/year. The project is expected to be completed at the same time as Long Thanh Airport goes into commercial operation.
