On the evening of December 27, at Le Loi Street, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with relevant units to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City Brass Band Festival and Puppetry Festival with the theme "Spring Flowers of the Country".

This is a playground that creates conditions for brass bands, musicians, military ceremonial groups... from the system of Cultural Centers/Cultural - Sports Centers of Thu Duc City, Cultural Centers, Children's Houses, Youth Activity Centers of Ho Chi Minh City and districts/counties, Command, Conservatory, Military Region 7, Symphony and Ballet Theater, City Children's House... to exchange and learn from each other, serving the city's people and tourists at the end of the year.
The festival attracted 16 teams with nearly 1,000 actors participating in performances and parades.
This year's Puppetry Festival in Ho Chi Minh City has 10 participating art units, with more than 100 puppetry and circus artists parading on the streets, along with many performances, plays, and performances, bringing many cultural colors of the country and the world.
Events within the festival take place until December 29.
