Regarding fiber optic services, 100% of districts have returned to normal, except for the My Tho area, the unit is determined to complete the repair today (March 16).
Regarding wifi and Internet services, 80% have been restored, the rest is being actively handled by technicians and is expected to be completed on March 16.

Earlier, in the early morning of March 15, the Tien Giang Telecommunications building suddenly caught fire, causing mobile, landline and Internet services in some areas of Tien Giang province to be interrupted.
The fire mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers from the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Tien Giang Provincial Police, and officers and employees of VNPT Tien Giang to participate in extinguishing the fire.
