On November 1, the rain lasted for more than 4 hours, causing Phan Dinh Phung Street in Ward 2, Da Lat City to be partially flooded.

According to the clip recorded by the people, some locations were flooded from 40-50 cm, causing many difficulties for vehicles passing through, paralyzing traffic, and all business and daily activities were suspended.

According to residents on Phan Dinh Phung Street, this low-lying section of the road is currently flooded regularly. Every day when it rains heavily, it floods because the underground sewer system of the area is not only small but also buried by rocks and soil.

Previously on October 8, also in Lam Dong, the rain lasted for more than 2 hours, causing National Highway 20, the section adjacent to Ninh Gia commune of Duc Trong district and Tam Bo commune of Di Linh district, to be flooded for hundreds of meters. Some locations were flooded 20-30cm, causing difficulties and traffic jams. Police were present to regulate and direct traffic.

Similarly, heavy rains caused water from the upstream of the De Le stream to rush and flow rapidly, submerging the residential area of Hiep Hoa village, Ninh Gia commune (Duc Trong district). Many houses were flooded more than 1 meter deep and isolated. Many plants along the stream were damaged after being submerged in water.

Not only in the Central Highlands, on November 1, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting announced that the Central region is facing the risk of heavy rain, causing major floods at alert level 3 in the Northern and Central Central provinces.
