In 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of Quang Nam province proactively implemented and successfully completed the proposed work program, with many outstanding results.
Of which, the Provincial Steering Committee for the Fund to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses mobilized 46,568 billion VND (over 37,683 billion VND at the provincial level); allocated 22,295 billion VND to support the construction of 1,279 houses (897 new houses and 382 houses repaired).
The Fund for the Poor and the Relief Fund at all levels mobilized more than VND 27,657 billion, together with the 2023 source, supported the construction and repair of 293 new houses with a total cost of VND 12,402 billion; awarded 93,949 gifts to support poor, near-poor, and extremely disadvantaged households with a total value of VND 43,774 billion.
Launched a campaign to support people in the Northern provinces affected by storm No. 3 with a total amount of money mobilized in the whole province of more than 37,659 billion VND (provincial level 32,156 billion VND)...
On behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Dung congratulated the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of Quang Nam province in 2024.
Regarding the tasks of the Front in the coming time, according to comrade Nguyen Duc Dung, first of all, it is necessary to actively propagate and mobilize cadres and members, promote advocacy work, gather member organizations, intellectuals, artists, people of all religions, ethnic groups, and people of all walks of life to agree, respond, and actively participate in implementing the Party's major policies and the State's laws and policies.
In particular, focusing on the strategic guiding thoughts and major policies of our Party on the orientation of building a clean and strong Party and developing the country quickly and sustainably in the new period, closely linked to the work of organizing Party congresses at all levels, the 23rd Provincial Party Congress; socio -economic development tasks, institutional reform, organization and apparatus arrangement and streamlining; and the work of preventing corruption, waste and negativity.
At the same time, diversify methods of listening, collecting, and synthesizing opinions and recommendations of voters and people, promptly reporting them to Party committees and authorities, and paying attention to monitoring and urging the settlement and response to recommendations of voters and people.
