On August 6, Fisheries Control Team No. 4 held a conference to study and improve Chinese reading skills for more than 100 officers and employees.

The conference aims to help officers and employees improve their foreign language skills in general, and their Chinese listening and reading skills in particular; thereby flexibly applying them to their work at the unit, especially in performing tasks at sea.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dinh Xuan Hoang - Commander of the Team emphasized that organizing learning and training in Chinese reading skills for officers and employees in the entire team is extremely important, as a basis for improving the quality of training work of the unit, improving the foreign language proficiency of officers and employees to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation. Requesting the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units to pay attention, create favorable conditions in terms of time and work; thoroughly grasp and raise awareness of the role and importance of learning foreign languages in general, learning Chinese in particular and monitor and urge the compliance with the training time of officers and employees under their authority. The teaching team needs to closely follow the approved lesson plans and documents; focus on researching and innovating teaching methods suitable to the practical situation of the unit. For learners, it is necessary to promote a sense of responsibility, be proactive, and self-motivated in studying, practicing, correctly and fully absorbing the content and strictly complying with the regulations of the training class, and completing assigned tasks well.

At the end of the training course, the Team organized a test and classified the Chinese language proficiency of the staff to develop a plan and determine the training policy and direction in the coming time.
