According to RT , the Russian Defense Ministry on June 13 released a video showing Russian soldiers in the Zaporizhzhia region inspecting a fleet of Ukrainian NATO armored vehicles left on the battlefield after a counterattack last week.

The video shows an excited Russian soldier walking around destroyed Ukrainian heavy equipment, including German-made Leopard 2 main battle tanks and US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles. The Russian soldier also said that some of the armored vehicles' engines were still running.

“These weapons are not as scary as people think,” said the Russian soldier in the video.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, its forces consider NATO tanks and armored vehicles as war trophies.

Since June 4, the Ukrainian army has launched a large-scale counterattack across the entire front line in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. Leading the attack on Ukraine is a heavy weapon system provided by the West.

Ukrainian officials, including Ukrainian Defense Minister Aleksey Reznikov, have hailed NATO tanks and infantry fighting vehicles as a game-changer.

More than a week after the start of the counteroffensive, the Ukrainian army has made almost no significant progress along the entire front line.
