Speaking at a regular press conference when answering a question about the September 2022 explosion, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: "They (the US and UK) are involved, in one way or another, in this terrorist attack."
However, he did not provide any evidence.
Previously, on September 25, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said that China supports an objective, fair and professional investigation into the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosion and hopes that relevant countries will have a responsible attitude and responsibility in verifying the truth.
At the end of September 2022, explosions damaged two Russian gas export pipelines to Europe - Nord Stream 1 and 2. Germany, Denmark and Sweden do not rule out the possibility that it was an act of deliberate sabotage.
The Nord Stream operator, Nord Stream AG, said the damage to the gas pipeline in this incident was unprecedented and it was impossible to estimate the repair timeframe.
The Russian prosecutor's office has opened a case of international terrorism.
