Very early, citizens came to carry out procedures at the Public Administration Service Center.
From early morning, the working atmosphere was lively and exciting. At the headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of the commune, officials and civil servants from the old communes were present early, ready for new tasks. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hieu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thieu Hoa commune expressed: "Today marks an important step forward in the process of innovation and reorganization of the local government apparatus of the commune. We are clearly aware of the responsibility and opportunity to improve the quality of service to the people, contributing to promoting socio -economic development, building an increasingly prosperous homeland."
At 7:30 a.m., in neat uniforms, officers and civil servants of the Public Administration Service Center quickly settled into their positions, ready to receive citizens. There were no more images of cumbersome paperwork and overlapping procedures; instead, the process of receiving, processing, and returning results was carried out scientifically , transparently, and quickly.
Mr. Le Van Hai, Deputy Director of the Public Administration Service Center, said: “We determined that this is not just the first working day but a historic day, the day the commune government truly innovates for the people. The entire staff has carefully prepared their expertise and style to serve the people.”
Commune police organized a campaign to guide people in handling administrative procedures.
In order to support people in completing procedures quickly and conveniently and to help the new government apparatus operate effectively, Thieu Hoa Commune Police have also organized a campaign to guide the settlement of administrative procedures, remove difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing the 2-level government. Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang, Sub-area 4 shared: "I came to carry out the procedure of confirming residence information, thanks to the enthusiastic guidance of the Commune Police comrades, the procedure was carried out much faster and more conveniently. We, the people, feel more secure when everything is resolved right at the commune."
The Party Executive Committee of the commune held its first conference on July 1.
The first working day with the two-level government model in Thieu Hoa commune left many positive impressions. From the initiative of the leadership to the sense of responsibility and dedication of the staff, all are aimed at the common goal of serving the people better, building a government that is truly close to the people and for the people. This is the foundation for Thieu Hoa commune to continue promoting the spirit of innovation, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the coming time.
The new Thieu Hoa commune was established on the basis of merging 5 previous administrative units: Thieu Hoa town (including Van Ha town and the old Thieu Phu commune), Thieu Phuc commune, Thieu Cong commune, Thieu Long commune and Thieu Nguyen commune. The new Thieu Hoa commune has a natural area of 36.16 km2 and a population of nearly 49,000 people. |
