Comrade Mai Sy Lan, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Ngoc Son Ward, said: Immediately after the two-level local government apparatus came into operation, the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee focused on leading and directing the implementation of political tasks to ensure comprehensiveness and effectiveness in all areas. The current key task is to successfully organize the First Ward Party Congress to unify thinking, vision, aspirations and appropriate development directions for the locality in the new term. In the period of 2025-2030, the ward will focus on implementing 2 key programs, namely: Urban development program, building a civilized urban ward and the program of developing marine economy and tourism .

The main tasks and solutions for breakthroughs are also clearly identified, in which the top priority task is to properly manage approved urban and industrial plans. On that basis, mobilize diverse investment resources to build and complete a synchronous economic and social infrastructure system to serve production and people's lives. At the same time, exploit the maximum potential and advantages, develop with focus and key areas of Thanh Son, Thanh Thuy, Hai Chau, Hai Ninh (old).

Focus on mobilizing and effectively using investment resources and socialized resources to build a synchronous economic and social infrastructure, especially the urban traffic system, sidewalks, trees, lighting... towards civilized urban standards. Regularly review projects, increase planning management, construction order management, promote site clearance for project implementation; develop specific annual plans, ensure all projects are completed on schedule, promote socio-economic development.

As a key area for natural disaster prevention and control with 19.5km of sea dykes, Yen River and Thi Long River dykes, with more than 400 boats and 2,165 workers participating in seafood exploitation and fishing, the ward has determined that natural disaster prevention and control work must be proactively and actively implemented according to the motto "4 on-site" to minimize damage caused by natural disasters, accidents and incidents, and maintain the achievements of socio-economic development.
