Accordingly, for 6 consecutive hours, dozens of youth union members of the College of Technology - Foreign Trade worked together to give the school a new look with the image of a 5-pointed golden star.

Ms. Vuong Thi Duyen - Secretary of the School Youth Union said that the red flag with a five-pointed yellow star is the pride of every Vietnamese person. To have the right proportion of the five-pointed yellow star, the students spent many hours calculating, measuring, and then adjusting the angle so that the star was straight and beautiful. After creating the star frame, they continued to mix the paint and apply two layers to get the desired yellow color.

Moved by the students’ ideas, Mr. Tran Thanh Trinh – Principal of the School accompanied the project. According to Mr. Trinh, this is a way to express national pride, patriotism as well as creativity in planning, preparing and implementing this activity.

Many people enjoy checking in with the image of the bright national flag.

"Young people are gradually leaning towards learning about history, showing increasing patriotism. Therefore, this activity will contribute to enhancing national pride and patriotism of each citizen, including the young generation," said Mr. Tran Thanh Trinh.

It is known that the College of Technology - Foreign Trade is the pioneer school to carry out the "trend" of painting the national flag, with the desire to spread this activity to many schools and students nationwide. After completion, many people in the area, students and foreigners came to take pictures.

In addition to this activity, in recent times, the College of Technology - Foreign Trade has implemented a number of meaningful community programs such as humanitarian blood donation, Green Summer, Canteen of Love, gratitude, etc.
