The final round of the Miss Tourism Vietnam Global 2024 contest took place in Hai Phong city on the evening of September 21. Ninh Binh had contestant Trinh Thi Trung Thu (Tam Diep city) in the Top 10 and was awarded the "Vietnamese Identity Costume Beauty" award for the contestant with the most impressive costume with "Ninh Binh Rattan Sedge".
Trinh Thi Trung Thu, born in 2006, from Bac Son ward, Tam Diep city. She is currently a freshman at Hanoi National Economics University; 1m68 tall, measurements: 81-57-89.
At the Hoa Lu Beauty Contest 2024, Trinh Thi Trung Thu won the 3rd Hoa Lu Beauty Award, the best-behaved beauty.
At the final round of Miss Tourism Vietnam Global 2024, with the costume "Ninh Binh Rattan Sedge", Trung Thu hopes to spread and promote the traditional sedge making profession of Kim Son, Ninh Binh, which was formed hundreds of years ago. Through many ups and downs of history, the sedge craft has increasingly affirmed its position and has been preserved and developed to this day. Kim Son sedge craft has just been included in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
