According to Ms. Thanh, when the family discovered the incident, they reported it to the homeroom teacher, but the teacher did not take any form of reprimand, leading to the incident on April 29, when T. was beaten by classmates, forced to kneel, take off her clothes, and the clip was posted on social media.

"After the incident, my brother returned home and showed signs of panic and fear. He did not dare meet strangers, could not eat or drink anything, and did not dare go to school. It has been more than half a month now, but T. still cries at night and is afraid of being teased by others when he goes out," said Ms. Thanh.

Also according to Ms. Thanh, this morning, May 17, the school organized a meeting between families, witnessed by the authorities.

"At the end of the meeting, the school only gave the three students who bullied my sister a three-day suspension from school and announced it over the school loudspeaker, so my family did not agree. This punishment was not enough of a deterrent," said Ms. Thanh.

A leader of the People's Committee of My Luong commune said that immediately after receiving information about the incident, the authorities intervened, directing professional agencies, schools, homeroom teachers, and representatives of parents to work with the families of the parties involved.

According to the leader of the People's Committee of My Luong commune, the families of the three students who forced T. to kneel and posted the clip on social media apologized to T.'s family last Friday and the family accepted.

"Today, the school organized a meeting for all parties. The meeting included the parents of the three students who bullied T., T.'s parents, the homeroom teacher and the school. In the presence of the authorities, the parents of the three students involved, the homeroom teacher and the principal publicly apologized to T.'s family, but the family did not accept it," informed the leader of My Luong commune.
