US President-elect Donald Trump boards a plane from Palm Beach International Airport (Florida) to Washington Dulles International Airport in Washington DC on January 18.

The Wall Street Journal today, January 19, quoted an informed source revealing that Mr. Donald Trump has told his advisors about his intention to visit China in the first 100 days of his term as US President.

At Mr. Trump's inauguration on January 20, China sent Vice President Han Zheng to attend.

According to sources, through representatives, Mr. Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed meeting. The two also spoke by phone on January 17, according to CCTV and based on Mr. Trump's announcement on social media.

The Chinese Embassy in Washington has not commented on this information.

The president-elect also announced plans to sign a record number of executive orders on his first day in the White House.

NBC News quoted Mr. Trump referring to the activities on his first day as US President. When asked whether the number of executive orders signed exceeded 100, Mr. Trump said "at least that much".

He is expected to sign an order rescinding many policies put in place by the outgoing administration of President Joe Biden, which likely includes an executive order related to the mass deportation program of illegal immigrants in the US.

Deportations of undocumented immigrants in the US will "start very quickly," Mr. Trump told NBC News.

The US President-elect also said he would "most likely" sign an order to temporarily suspend the implementation of the law forcing China's TikTok to stop operating in the US from January 19.

"Most likely I'll give (TikTok) an extension of 90 days because that's the right thing to do," Trump said, adding that the decision could be announced on January 20.
