Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Duc Toan worked with the delegation of Word Vision International in Vietnam.

Since September 2022, the Provincial People's Committee and the WVI-V Representative Office have signed a cooperation agreement on implementing programs and projects in Dien Bien , period 2022 - 2027. Accordingly, the two sides cooperate to implement 5 regional programs (in 4 districts that have been implemented since 2008, namely Tuan Giao, Muong Cha, Tua Chua, Dien Bien Dong and open an additional regional program in Muong Ang district) and 2 projects (Prevention of human trafficking in the Tua Chua regional program and Prevention of child labor in arduous, toxic and dangerous environments). Up to now, after 2 years of implementation, the contents signed by the two sides have been fully and effectively implemented and complied with the provisions of Vietnamese law.

The WVI-V delegation presented flowers to congratulate the provincial leaders and delegates.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Doseba Tua Sinay, Chief Representative of WVI-V discussed a number of issues related to the projects implemented by WVI-V in the province. At the same time, Mr. Doseba Tua Sinay also expressed his gratitude for the province's cooperation in implementing the projects; acknowledged the openness and enthusiasm of the province in welcoming delegations of sponsors and sponsors to visit and inspect the results of the projects. Mr. Doseba Tua Sinay hoped that the cooperation between the WVI-V Representative Office and Dien Bien province would bring about even better results in the future.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Duc Toan highly appreciated the contributions of WVI-V to the socio -economic development of Dien Bien province in recent times. At the same time, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also discussed and shared some positive results and difficulties and challenges in poverty reduction, ensuring social security and socio -economic development of the province.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Duc Toan presented typical agricultural products of the province to Mr. Doseba Tua Sinay, Chief Representative of WVI-V Organization.

Comrade Pham Duc Toan also thanked the WVI-V organization for its support in the past and wished to continue to cooperate further in the future until there are no more poor households in the province. Comrade Pham Duc Toan also committed to directing departments, branches and localities to closely coordinate with the WVI-V Representative Office so that the projects operate in accordance with their objectives in improving the lives of people in the province.
