Women in the capital join forces to clean up the environment after storms and floods

From early morning, Women's Unions at all levels in districts and towns simultaneously launched environmental sanitation, overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 ( Yagi beach) and overcoming the consequences of floods.

In Thanh Tri district, due to the impact of storms and floods, some communes were isolated due to flooding. The district Women's Union mobilized nearly 2,000 women and other sectors, district and grassroots organizations to participate in the general environmental cleaning.

In other areas such as districts of Nam Tu Liem, Cau Giay, Dong Da, Bac Tu Liem, Tay Ho, Thanh Xuan, Thuong Tin, Phu Xuyen... women's union members also actively participate in general environmental cleaning activities, overcoming the consequences of storms such as: sweeping streets, village roads, alleys, hamlets; cleaning up fallen tree branches; cleaning mud and trash in flooded areas; sweeping and rearranging furniture in schools...
