The ASEAN Women's Development Cooperation Forum 2025 with the theme: "Empowerment - Sharing - Innovation: Artificial Intelligence and Women's Development" is organized to discuss the role of women in the digital age; exchange, share experiences, enhance the role of women, promote gender equality in the region.
Within the framework of the visit and work in Guangxi (China), the delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union will attend the ASEAN Women Development Cooperation Exchange Forum 2025; visit the exhibition of innovative achievements in artificial intelligence and women's startups; survey some typical cultural locations and startup models; have a roundtable dialogue with two topics: career opportunities and challenges for women in the digital age, and the practice of "She - Ecommerce" - Cross-border e-commerce led by women.
This working trip aims to concretize the implementation of the common perceptions reached at the 2025 Spring Meeting between Provincial/Regional Party Secretaries and the 16th Conference of the Joint Working Committee between the provinces: Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Ha Giang (now Tuyen Quang province) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China).
This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations and the “Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025”. The forum is an opportunity for officials of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Women’s Union to exchange and share experiences with nearly 200 delegates from China and ASEAN countries on the opportunities and challenges for women in the context of strong development of artificial intelligence.
