Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoang Liet Ward Nguyen Truong Son emphasized: The theme of World Population Day 2025 announced by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is: "Reproductive autonomy in a changing world". This message emphasizes the basic rights of each individual, especially women and young people, to access information, adequate, safe and equal health services to be proactive, free and responsible in decisions related to reproduction.
Hoang Liet Ward, with a population of over 72,000 people, has concretized this theme with a practical action program to raise public awareness, promote gender equality, improve population quality and affirm the local role in implementing sustainable development goals.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Hoang Liet Ward People's Committee Bui Thi Thu Thuy reviewed the history of World Population Day (July 11, 1987) when the world welcomed the birth of the 5 billionth citizen. Since then, July 11 has become an occasion for countries to review the challenges and opportunities in population work, especially reproductive rights, reproductive health and gender equality.

Hoang Liet Ward is determined to work with the whole country to achieve two specific goals: Maintain a steady level of average replacement fertility and improve the physical, intellectual and spiritual quality of the population. Thereby, moving towards the goal of each family and the whole society having a prosperous and happy life.
Speaking in response, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Hoang Liet Ward Youth Union Bui Duy Khanh emphasized that with the spirit of initiative, volunteerism and responsibility to the community, the youth of Hoang Liet Ward committed to implementing 3 contents: Proactively participating in propaganda to raise awareness of reproductive rights, gender equality, reproductive health care for adolescents and young people in schools, residential areas, and neighborhood groups; Proactively studying and practicing a healthy and responsible lifestyle, saying no to early marriage, early childbirth and violations of laws related to population; Accompanying young people to establish their own careers, contributing to improving population quality in the new development period.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the propaganda vehicle convoy departed from the ward People's Committee headquarters, parading through the main streets of the ward, carrying many banners with prominent slogans, such as: "Giving birth is a right - Raising good children is a responsibility"; "Do not get pregnant at a young age for your own health, future and happiness"; "Let the birth of a boy or a girl follow the natural law"; "Healthy population - Happy family - Prosperous country"..., contributing to spreading the humane message about reproductive rights and community responsibility.
