Implementing Plan No. 225-KH/TU dated May 7, 2024 of the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa City Party Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 220th anniversary of the provincial capital (1804 - 2024), the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Thanh Hoa City (1994 - 2024) and the 10th anniversary of the first-class urban area (2014 - 2024), Thanh Hoa City People's Committee has developed a plan to display photos and introduce the photo book " Thanh Hoa City past and present".
The President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area is a place to display photos and introduce the photo book "Thanh Hoa City past and present".
It is expected that the photo exhibition and book introduction “Thanh Hoa City past and present” will be held at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area, lasting for 5 days, starting 1 day before the anniversary. The space for the photo exhibition and book introduction is divided into 2 areas: Area 1 is the entire outside of the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area (Le Loi and Le Hoan Avenues). Area 2 is the entire space inside the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area.
According to the plan, Thanh Hoa City will display 220 precious images recreating Thanh Hoa City past and present. The images selected for display as well as printed in the photo book "Thanh Hoa City past and present" ensure historical, scientific, aesthetic values, with content reflecting the process of formation, construction and development of Thanh Hoa City. This is also an opportunity for the people of the province and tourists from all over to better understand the history and culture of Thanh Hoa City past and present.
